Well folks the new year is almost here. Life definitely blew by me the last 360+ days. I've been thinking a lot about my resolutions for 2009....those of which I'll probably blow within a week...
So, knowing that I will probably fail, I'm going to at least list them to make myself accountable.
1. Smile more
2. Go to church more
3. Spend more time with family
4. Double my freelance income
5. Make others smile more
6. Have at least 2 images published in Sports Illustrated or ESPN The Magazine
7. Don't drop my cellphone
8. Win a photo contest
9. Drink half the amount of soda that I do right now
10. Spend more quality time with my wife
11. Visit the Smoky Mountains, a beach and a forest I've never stepped foot in.
12. Take more vacation!!!
So...if I can accomplish HALF of these then I'll consider it a success! God bless and Happy New Year!!!

So the past week has brought working later than midnight 2 of the 4 nights and one past 10 p.m. another night. It's Thursday night, meaning we have officially less than 20 hours to order whatever we have to get ordered for the Christmas orders.
So far so good..I think for the most part we've done okay. Palmer and I look like a bunch of rag-tag scruff bags about midnight.....just imagine psycho hair and desks full of 2 liter bottles of Dr. Pepper and Coke. If you can do that you'll be able to see what it's like right now at Captured Images.
Enough complaining. Occasionally I feel the need to take a break from it all and do something a bit fun. I designed 3 new business cards today, two of which I'll be putting into circulation as soon as they get back from the lab. All 3 new designs are posted here. The top two are the ones you'll be seeing shortly!

Well, it's been awhile. My apologies! Work seems to keep me busier than usual these days.
Had a few new firsts in the past week. My first phonebook cover!!! Go Bates County, Missouri! Haha....that is in the Hume, Mo. area for those who aren't on top of their Missouri Counties!
Another was my first photo in TV Guide. Never really thought of that ever happening but it did soo...that was an unexpected coolness! (It's the football photo on the right side.)
