Jen and Her Man

I was fortunate enough to meet Jen back in my first year of college at FSCC. She and Tiffany were best friends and quickly became good friends of mine. They say that you meet the friends that you'll keep for the rest of your life while in college....it sure has proven true to this day and hopefully will continue. Best of luck to Jennifer and Elliot.

Steve and Courtney

All smiles..... Steve and Courtney met while at the University of Kansas and currently live in the Kansas City area.

I met Steve early in life...around junior high...in Uniontown, my hometown. He transferred to school at Uniontown and lived a few blocks away. We spent a lot of days teaching ourselves to golf, denting vehicles while learning how to golf, playing video games and all sorts of other stupid stuff. He was my best friend for a lot of years.

When he left for college we didn't see each other often but I remember one time we ran into each other back home and he told me about his girlfriend (Courtney)...he's been smiling ever since.

I photographed their wedding in Colorado Springs on June 6. They were a beautiful couple in a beautiful location. Congrats to both of them!

Congratulations to Karlee & Travis

My brother-in-law Travis will marry his high school sweetheart Saturday. He and Karlee have been dating since he was a freshman. It's been a joy to watch them blossom into a great young couple the past several years.

Travis and Karlee have both been models at some point for my camera. I wish them well this Saturday as they get married and for the rest of their many many years together!

D-Day 2009 - Paintball's Biggest Event

Well folks, there's a time in everyone's life where you just say *&%^$ it. This past Thursday I started what I thought would be a very very very lucrative deal. I'd be the official photographer for the D-DAY 2009 ... what's known as the largest paintball event in the world. It's a week of non-stop action and death by paintball.

Turns out that I didn't make much money at all and ended up giving up after Day 2. I did get quite a few cool action shots and even got to take a helicopter ride. Enjoy.

Trash the Dress II - Karlee

Karlee modeled for my second Trash the Dress session about two weeks ago. She went from an abandoned bridge, to an alley to the lake...and LOVED every second of it!

Welcome KIT

Please welcome KIT the fox to the world. KIT is a fairly new fox baby living in Breckenridge, Colorado. These images were taken on a recent photo trip to Colorado. KIT and his 5 brothers and sisters live near Main Street.

As always, anyone who has a love for wildlife and is interested in prints, please ask.

It's Electric....!

So last night as I was making the 10+ hour drive home from Colorado Springs, I witnessed an incredible light show thanks to a 2 hour long lightning storm across Central Kansas. I stopped at the wind turbine farm near Ellsworth, Kansas to shoot the lightning. Two of my faves!

Colorado - Exploration of Water

Flowing water is soothing. Even though it rushes down the mountainside, it still brings me peace. Here are a few of the images I shot today in Colorado Springs.

Colorado Scenes - Days 3-4 of Trip

A few shots from the last few days of adventure here in Colorado. Let me know what you think!

A black bear in Breckenridge. Cute little fellow.

Momma Fox taking a yawn!!!

Hays Falls near Marble, Colorado.

Me in front of Hanging Lake. One of the most grueling hikes (1.2 miles all uphill) I've ever taken on. Worth every second!
